The Zinc available in the soil is oxidized by Thiobacillus thiooxidans. The organic acids produced during this process act on fixed Zinc and mobilize it. Thus the bacterium makes the Zinc available to the crops.Thiobacillus thiooxidans is a beneficial bacterium that can be used as a bio-fertilizer to make zinc available to plants. It can be used on a variety of crops, including vegetables, cereals, flowers, fruit, and more.

Solubilizes zinc

Thiobacillus thiooxidans produces organic acids that help mobilize zinc in the soil, making it more available for plants to absorb

Improves soil health

Thiobacillus thiooxidans can improve soil health by increasing nutrient content.

Increases crop yield

Inoculating plants with Thiobacillus thiooxidans can increase crop yield. For example, one study found that inoculating maize with Thiobacillus thiooxidans and spraying it with iron and zinc improved both yield and grain quality.

Dosage:

Liquid based: 1litre/acre ( mix with Biocompost or city compost ) or 2 to 3ml per litre of water for drenching in plantation crops
